The 190kg payload palletizing robot is the workhorse of the MOTOMAN-PL series for rice, fertiliser, feed and other bagged goods, and for beverage cartons that arrive in high stacks. Its 3159mm reach builds a 1600 x 1600mm pallet pattern up to 2737mm high, so a single 190kg payload palletizing robot replaces the two positions a smaller arm would need on a tall line. The 4 axis structure matches the level, rotation-only motion of stacking: no wasted wrist tilt. A 75mm hollow wrist bore, enlarged from the previous 53mm on earlier models, lets gripper air lines and sensor cables run inside the arm, which removes the most common cause of downtime in bag palletizing cells. Speed is 37 percent higher than the model it replaces, with the same 0.05mm repeatability.

Q: What is the payload of this palletizing robot?
A: The 190kg payload palletizing robot is rated at 190kg including the gripper. For bag lines with a 12kg gripper, roughly 178kg of product remains for each cycle.
Q: How tall a pallet can it build?
A: With the 3159mm reach it stacks to 2737mm on a 1300 x 1300mm pattern and on a 1600 x 1600mm pattern. Confirm your pallet footprint and we return the exact pattern plan.
Q: What does the hollow wrist change?
A: The 75mm wrist bore lets gripper air lines and sensor cables run inside the arm instead of looping outside, which cuts wiring time and removes cable snagging on tall stacks.
Q: Why is a 4 axis robot used for stacking?
A: Palletizing keeps the product level, so only rotation around the vertical axis is needed at the wrist. A 4 axis arm gives the same result with fewer parts to wear.
Q: How many cycles per hour does it reach?
A: 1670 cycles per hour under the standard measuring pattern with rated load. Actual throughput follows bag weight, pattern and conveyor timing.
Q: Does the wrist survive dusty lines?
A: The wrist is IP67 and the body IP54, so cement, fertiliser and stone dust do not enter the joints under normal operating conditions.
Q: Which controller and software are included?
A: The YRC1000 controller is supplied with the palletizing wizard, pattern generator and energy regeneration as standard.
Q: How is it shipped and installed?
A: The arm travels on a steel base inside a plywood case, and the controller ships separately. We provide layout drawings, anchor plans and remote commissioning support.
