12kg Payload and 1428.5mm Reach from a Foldable Arm: The CS612AZ pairs a 12kg rated payload with the longest radius of the 12kg models at 1428.5mm. Its Z-type structure folds the upper and lower arms together, which the manufacturer rates as saving about 30 percent of installation space. The body weighs 37kg on a 190mm base, and all six joints turn a full 360 degrees.
0.03mm Repeatability with 4.4m/s Tool Speed: Repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.03mm, so the extended 1428.5mm reach keeps the same placement quality as the shorter 12kg models. Maximum tool speed reaches 4.4m/s, the second elbow joint turns at 410 degrees per second and the wrist reaches 470 degrees per second. Long, fast strokes cut transfer time inside larger cells.
Built-In 6-Axis Force Torque Sensor Rated 300N and 30Nm: A six-axis force and torque sensor is built into the arm with a 300N Fxyz and 30Nm Mxyz range, matching the 12kg payload class. Accuracy is 5N and 0.5Nm, resolution is 1N and 0.1Nm, and overload capacity reaches 400 percent. Force control covers assembly, polishing and grinding without an external sensing package.
IP65 Body Rated from -10 to 50 Degrees Celsius: An IP65 rating protects the arm against dust and water jets, so it can work near washing stations or machining cells. It operates from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius at up to 90 percent relative humidity without condensation. The body uses aluminium alloy, steel, plastic and rubber, and the standard cable runs 5.5 metres.
ERB3C1K0 Control Box and ERP500 Pendant for Line Integration: The controller is housed in the ERB3C1K0 control box running on a 100 to 240VAC single phase supply, with the ERB1C600ME-Mini box available as an option. The ERP500 pendant provides a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 screen with physical buttons and IP54 protection. Fieldbus support covers Ethernet, PROFINET slave, EtherNet/IP slave, FINS TCP, Modbus TCP and RTU, RS485 and optional CC-Link.
