Coolant mist, cast-iron dust and a cycle that never stops: that is the floor a machine tending robot has to survive.
The M-710iC/50 was built for it. A rigid arm structure takes the shock of clamping heavy castings without the wrist deflection that quietly ruins fixture alignment, and the sealed wrist keeps working through flood coolant and chip spray.
Operators stop hand-loading hot, oily parts, the cell keeps cutting through breaks, and a single arm can feed two machine tools from one floor-mounted base.

FAQ
Q: Can the M-710iC/50 be mounted on an external linear track or guided by a vision system?
A: Yes. The R-30iB Plus controller supports FANUC external axis control and iRVision, so a seventh-axis track, a positioner or 2D/3D vision guidance can be added without changing the robot.
Q: Under what conditions is the ±0.04 mm repeatability measured?
A: Repeatability follows the ISO 9283 test standard at the tool flange under rated payload and standard test conditions. Real cell accuracy also depends on gripper rigidity, part presentation and fixture repeatability, so we confirm the achievable tolerance against your workpiece.
Q: Is the protection rating enough for wet machining and casting cells?
A: Yes. The wrist and J3 arm are IP67 as standard and the body is IP54 with an IP67 option, which covers flood coolant, chip spray and fine casting dust. For high-pressure washdown we can quote the fully sealed configuration.
Q: What warranty and after-sales support comes with the robot?
A: Every unit ships with a 1 year warranty, FANUC genuine spare parts and access to the global FANUC service network. Commissioning support, programming training and preventive maintenance plans are available on request.
