The AUBO iS25 is a 25kg payload cobot arm designed for production cells that must move real weight while keeping a force-limited, human-safe workspace. Machine builders specify this 1700mm reach cobot arm when parts are heavy, grippers are bulky and operators still need to walk into the cell for loading, inspection and changeover. One cobot arm with 1700mm reach and 25kg at the flange can serve a pallet corner, a machine door and an outfeed conveyor without adding a seventh axis.
The integrated six-axis force torque sensor is the reason this cobot arm suits contact work. There are no external sensor cables, no extra box on the wrist and no separate interface to lose. Force control repeatability reaches 0.5%FS, with 0.1%FS available as an option, so pressing, fitting and following a surface behave the same on the first cycle and the ten-thousandth. A 4.1 m/s tool speed keeps the same cobot arm productive on transfer moves between force-controlled operations.
Every unit is built around AUBO joint modules with dual encoders and a hollow wrist concept, then run through joint calibration, payload verification and repeatability checks before packing. Documentation, a machinery test report and controller firmware notes ship with the robot, so integration engineers can validate the cell against the quoted repeatability of +/-0.05mm without guesswork.

Q: What does the 25kg payload rating include?
A: The 25kg payload refers to the total mass mounted on the flange, including gripper, adapter plate, sensor tooling and workpiece. A 25kg payload cobot arm with a 4kg end effector therefore handles roughly 21kg of part weight at the rated dynamic performance.
Q: Why choose a 1700mm reach cobot arm instead of a long linear track?
A: A 1700mm working radius reaches a 3.4m diameter work envelope from a single base. That usually removes the seventh axis, the extra guarding and the additional commissioning work a track requires, while still covering a pallet plus a machine door.
Q: How accurate is the integrated force sensing?
A: The wrist sensor measures 500 N and 40 N.m with 1%FS accuracy, resolution of 2.5 N / 0.2 N.m and force control repeatability of 0.5%FS. A 0.1%FS version is available when a process needs tighter force windows.
Q: Can this cobot arm run without an external force sensor?
A: Yes. Force sensing is integrated in the wrist, so no external sensor, cable pack or interface box is needed. Drag teaching, force-limited contact and collision detection all run on the robot controller itself.
Q: What controller and programming options are supplied?
A: The AUBO-CB-iS controller is included, with Modbus-RTU/TCP, Profinet and EtherNet/IP fieldbus support. Programming is available in C, C++, C#, Lua, Python, JavaScript, Java, ROS and ROS2 on Windows or Linux.
Q: Is the +/-0.05mm repeatability verified before shipment?
A: Each robot is calibrated at the joint level and checked against the quoted +/-0.05mm repeatability before packing. Test data and documentation travel with the unit for incoming inspection.
Q: How is a 75.6kg cobot arm installed in an existing cell?
A: The base uses a O282mm mounting flange and allows any-angle mounting on a steel plate or aluminium profile frame. A typical installation takes one working day including tooling setup and safety configuration.
Units ship in AUBO-grade export wooden crates with shock-proof foam and a moisture barrier. Our engineering team supports payload checks, reach studies and force-control process selection before the order, and provides spare parts and technical guidance after delivery so the cobot arm keeps running in production. Send your part weight, cycle time and cell layout and we will confirm the configuration, tooling interface and delivery schedule for the AUBO iS25.
