Based on our successful C4L robots, Epson C8XL robots expand on our SlimLine Design concept by making 1400mm reach 6-axis arms with a slim arm configuration yet capable of high performance specifications. We lost the bulk (compared to competitive models) but improved the performance. C8XL robots have a maximum payload of 8Kg and are perfect for load/unload or packaging applications as they were built for applications in tight spaces where maximum flexibility, and speed along with minimum footprint are required. Epson C8XL Robots combined with our PowerDrive servo technology yield high performance results that customers have come to appreciate and expect from Epson. Also, included with our new C8XL 6-axis robots is our new leading edge Residual Vibration Technology utilizing Epson QMEM's (Quartz Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) which sense angular velocity and feedback to our servo motion servo system to help significantly reduce vibration during motion and stop/start thus yielding smoother motion and faster positioning.
